The Christmas party was done. This week had been an exciting week but not as exciting as our Christmas party. I enjoyed our party more than the Christmas because first, I believe that I was too old to go to my godmothers and godfathers to ask for gifts and second, my godparents are living in Las Piñas so I will not be able to go in their place. Aside from that, I just don't like to ask for aguinaldo or gifts to people because I think at my age, I should be the one giving gifts to kids.
Anyway, though I was not going to anyone this Christmas, I still enjoyed because I was left in the house so I was able to do everything that I want to do. Like for example, I can turn the television to any channel that I want because usually if my brothers are in our house, they would always watch cartoons and I hate cartoons. Next was all the food, which are in our house , are all mine. I really love to eat. Another thing that made me happy this Christmas was, though, I was not able to ask for aguinaldo from my grandparents, I was able to get, approximately, Php. 600.00. Not bad for a person like me who did not go to different places just to visit their godparents.
Aside from the things that my family and I are doing to celebrate the Christmas, I still gave time to do the projects, which are given to us to be done during the Christmas break. Unluckily, I was able to read the book for our book report but not able to start to the paper because of some things that I was busy of, like the bonding time of our family in different amusement parks and when we are going to the houses of our relatives to visit.
This week ended with a smile on our faces and I guess, next week would be a better one because for me, New Year has always been happier than Christmas because of the fireworks and we prepare more foods on New Year than on Christmas. But still, I value Christmas more than New Year because I know that we are celebrating for a reason and with that reason, I am aware that Christmas was the day that Christ was born. So all I can say is "happy birthday Jesus".
