This week was very busy yet exciting. This was also the week that I was exposed that much in the school. I never thought that I would do the things that I' ve done this week. I enjoyed those things that happened so much except for the fact that I danced... in front of the whole school. I just don't like dancing in front of many people. I don't know why but after that moment, I kept on repeating the steps. It was funny, I liked the steps since then. That happened during the SSG election, unluckily, I got lesser votes than my opponent but I don't consider that as a failure. We were all winners because we belong in one section and one family. But still, one thing is important for me, I danced, "quit playing games with my heart, with my heart, with my heart" and of course, "ja-ja-ja-jamppong, ja-ja-ja-jamppong". That was the coolest thing that I have done in my life.
The next day was my another exposure. After dancing in front of the whole school, I wore dress (note: a dress) to orate on the stage. The whole school is watching me that time. It's not that I don't like wearing dress but I am not fund of doing it. Anyway, everything went right. I was able to orate well and nervousness was removed when I started speaking. At the middle of my oration, I did not really feel anything. Words just go out from my mouth and my whole body just follow. I can't explain it but I was so relaxed. So after my performance, I sat in the chair and that very moment, my heart beats fast again and I started to feel nervous and tense.
As I watched my opponents, I already had an idea who will be my most seriuos opponent and that was of course, the forth year. I really believe that if I'm not going to make it to the first place, he will be. But during the announcement of results, I was the second and the first year won. But still, I don't consider this as a failure because I persisted to succeed and I believe that I succeed. Thank you to the people who supported me, my mentor, Dei and of course, Ma'am Tenny. Thank you!!!
I would also like to congratulate the winners of SSG Election and of course, the English Speech Festival especially, the winners from the third year level.
